It has been two months since I last blogged so there is a lot to catch up on..

At the end of November, the fashion show took place.  My class had to paint the run way the day before it.  We wore old clothes which got wrecked.  The highlight of the day was definitely when Gemma jumped from the stage into the tub of paint, wrecking her trousers and socks.  To make sure she didn't stain the carpet and chairs in the Celbridge Manor, we had to wrap her up in a plastic bag which was really funny!  When the fashion show came around, we had to sell our Mini Company product.  My group made personalised Christmas cards which sold really well, thank God!

The following week, I took part in the Intel Work Experience Programme.  The first two days of it took place in Trinity College in the Science Gallery where we visited the BLOOD Exhibition and saw how Intel influence the production of other businesses.  Our days started really early and one of the days I had to get the 7:00 bus.  The three days after that, we were in the Intel building.  It was a great learning experience.  The best parts of it were definitely the free meals (we even got a Christmas dinner!) and getting to know all the new people.

The Wednesday after my block week, we went into town to sell holly badges for ISPCC.  Me and Jane were in charge of the top of Grafton Street.  This experience made me realise that not many people actually take the time to donate money to charities.  Having said that, we made a lot of money which was good!  It was also a fun day out and we even got a free piece of chocolate which our hot chocolate from Butler's Chocolate Café.

During our last week coming up to Christmas, we went to Elf the Musical.  I had never seen the movie before this and thought the storyline was really cute!  Parts of it were kind of boring though and none of the songs were very catchy as such.  The popcorn being sold there made the day worth it, it was unreal!  It was a good day out and a great way to finish the term!
